A documentary made entirely in British Sign Language, we followed 12 year- old Daniel as he took on the government with his campaign for a BSL GCSE.

Filming it needed a lot of trust, careful handling around compliance and Ofcom, and it included high-pressure moments like a public protest in Trafalgar Square.

The film went on to become the first ever BSL programme to win a UK Broadcast Award, which is one of my proudest achievements.
